Who We are?
ABOUT US
Eswatini Business Health & Wellness (EBH) formerly known as SWABCHA is the Private Sector Response to Health & Wellness a non-governmental organisation established by Business Eswatini formerly known as the Federation of Swaziland Employers & Chamber of Commerce (FSE &CC). This started as a desk of the Federation in 2001 assisting employers with the response to HIV. In 2008 the desk was relaunched & registered as an independent non-profit organisation. EBH was relaunched in December, 2021 following its 5 year Strategic Framework of 2021 to 2026 which repositions the organisation to respond beyond HIV, and encompasses other wellness issues & emerging pandemics such as Covid 19 & mental health. This continuous review is convenient for partners & clients who use EBH services. With the ongoing shift from focusing only on HIV & AIDS to the focus on Wellness & Disease Management including HIV & AIDS, EBH continues to provide a framework for expansion & improvement of the private sector’s response to workplace wellness issues informed by documented previous experiences & new opportunities. Since 2008 to 2023, EBH has been mandate by the National Strategic Framework on HIV/AIDS, to coordinate the national strategy in the private sector.

What we advocate for?
EBH advocates that all workplaces in Eswatini must have running effective wellness programs. These programs must ensure that Health & Wellness form part of the agenda of the health issues to be addressed. In most cases it is advised that there be an officer designated for the Wellness program activities implementation for its effectiveness.
